Overscaig Retreats - Overscaig Annex

Overscaig Annex sits on a single level, opening into a unified living space where the kitchen, dining area and sitting room flow together. A wood-burning stove anchors the seating area, with a sofa bed that doubles as sleeping space, while the bedroom holds a zip-and-link king (or two single beds on request). The bathroom has a bath with overhead shower. You arrive to find essentials covered—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included, along with the initial supply of wood for the stove.

The annex sits on the banks of Loch Shin in the quiet hamlet of Overscaig, in the far north of Highland. Anglers come for the fishing on the loch and the nearby River Shin; the water also welcomes kayakers and swimmers. The enclosed garden gives you a private outdoor area with furniture, and parking for three cars sits on the property. One dog stays free. The space works for a couple, a solo traveller, or a small family with young children (a cot, travel cot and highchair are available). Smoking is not permitted inside.
