Earl Shilton sits within easy reach of several worthwhile destinations. Hinckley has the District Museum and shopping centre; Leicester offers the King Richard III Visitor Centre, medieval Guildhall and Cathedral; Twycross Zoo and Mallory Park are both accessible by car. Walkers can explore Burbage Common, the National Forest or the Ashby Canal. Chris's Fish & Chips is close by, and there's a pub within a mile.

Hilltop Apartment 9 is a self-contained studio on the second floor, sleeping two. The open-plan living space combines kitchen, dining and sitting areas, with a Smart TV for downtime. The bedroom has a zip-and-link bed (configured as a super king, or as two singles on request). The ensuite has a shower. You get Wi-Fi, electric heating, bed linen and towels included; the kitchen has a hob and microwave for preparing food. A washing machine and tumble dryer are available in the shared utility room, and there's allocated parking for one car on site. No smoking is permitted in the apartment.
