Called en-route without a reservation and hot a great welcome. Opted for the light lunch menu and it was superb. Sat outside in the sunshine with stunning views for drinks then ate inside. Really friendly and welcoming. Will visit again as great special offers and entertainment programme advertised.

A surprise, yes, but a very good one. Doing a lazy drive around local reservoirs and trails we needed a lunch for three with a cool, dog friendly place on a blazing hot day. The Boashaw Trout suddenly appeared in View and WOW what a pleasant surprise. Good, well varied food at good prices, good selection of drinks, welcoming and smiling staff. A great find. Highly recommended.

Not eaten here properly yet,.only a sandwich, but as a local resident 2.5 miles away I come here on a regular basis on my walks. Lovely pub with great staff offering locally brewed beer as well as the bigger names. The location is great and the views are stunning

Called in for a drink whilst out for a walk. Excellent greeting on arrival. Lovely views, and immaculately clean. Staff and beer both excellent. Noticed food going to the diners - all looked very good indeed!
