You won’t find a better Sunday lunch in the Holmfirth area. Fact! Great choice of meats on the menu, Yorkshires and the cauliflower cheese stunning, plenty of veg and gravy, topped off with nice beer, lovely setting and service, can’t go wrong! Amazing value, will be back.

Just back from a midweek stay which we have thoroughly enjoyed. Great value for money, the team made us feel like locals , so welcoming and their breakfast was delicious. Would definitely visit again. Thanks for a great visit.

Very nice pub in the centre of Holmfirth. Just round the corner from Nora Batty and Compo's houses, and a stones throw from the iconic café. A good selection of beers, ales, cider etc. Food is served but we didn't eat here.

Dropped in on a busy sunday on the off chance of getting some food. Managed to get a table. Greeted by lovely friendly staff. Very attentive. Little bit of wait but landlord apologised as was very busy but we werent in a rush and the food was well worth the wait. Had lamb roast 😋 👌 absolutely lovely. Followed by treacle sponge and custard. Amazing value for the quality. Very chatty and friendly landlord and team. Hope to return again Very soon. Keep up the good work
