About Orient BandB
A complimentary breakfast and Vietnamese dinner menu set Orient BandB apart from the usual guest house offering in Holyhead, Isle of Anglesey. There's also an on-site bar for a drink in the evening, and staff have been known to greet arriving guests with a free drink of their own. The atmosphere throughout is warm and unpretentious, and the whole place is generally felt to offer excellent value for what's provided.
Rooms are clean, comfortable and generously sized, with en-suite bathrooms, family rooms available, and drinks provided in the room. Free WiFi runs throughout, and reception is staffed around the clock. Outside there's a garden to sit in, with mountain views adding to the setting, and free on-site parking makes arriving by car straightforward.
Newry Beach lies 0.56 miles away, and the surrounding area offers walking routes, golf, fishing and watersports, along with nearby pubs, restaurants and other places to eat. It's a practical, well-run base for exploring Holyhead and the Anglesey coast.

We decided to spend the night in Holyhead at Orient B&B after arriving on the ferry, and we are glad we did. We walked up from the ferry terminal, an easy 20 minutes, each of us with a roller suitcase (although I wouldn’t recommend it if it was pouring rain). We were greeted with a glass of wine, (or anything else we wanted) and had an excellent supper with numerous choices. Our hostess, TJ, was wonderful and friendly, answering all of our questions and making sure we were comfortable. The room was spotlessly clean, had a nice view, was large and quiet. The bed was comfortable, and the pillows were great. In the morning we had a choice of continental breakfast or anything we wanted cooked from the kitchen. Lots of options either way, and the food was all fantastic. In the morning we walked back down to the waterfront to catch the train east. Overall we had a great stay, and we are glad we didn’t push it farther after the trip on the ferry. The town is friendly and looks like it would be fun to explore. If we were going to do it again, we would spend an extra day just to look around. If you are coming or going on the ferry you can’t go wrong with a night here.

My father and I came to this B&B not knowing what to expect, and we were pleasantly surprised to be welcomed at the door by TJ. She was very sweet and we had a lovely chat about our travels, and if my family travels to Wales again, we will certainly stay the night once more. Only little problem we had was the water pressure was a tad inconsistent, but it wasn't that big of a deal. We left very early the next morning, before breakfast was served, and the staff had made sure that we had food before we went. Thank you again so much, and we do hope to be back soon!

We really enjoyed our stay over the long Easter weekend. TJ, the host, is super welcoming. Our room was rather small but comfortable. We recommend trying the food for dinner as well. We would definitely stay again!
