About Pinecones Cosy BandB
Pinecones Cosy BandB suits travellers after a straightforward, no-fuss base for exploring Anglesey on foot or by bike rather than a destination in itself. Set at 4 Mile Bridge in Holyhead, it works well for anyone touring the coast, with Trearddur Bay just 1.64 miles away for a beach walk or a change of scenery.
Rooms come with drinks available and breakfast included, and the B&B operates a 24 hour reception, so arrival times are flexible for those coming off a ferry or a long drive. It's a modest, personal setup rather than a hotel with extensive facilities, which suits guests who want somewhere comfortable to sleep and eat before heading out for the day.
The surrounding area is geared towards outdoor pursuits, with cycling routes and walking paths on the doorstep, plus golf and fishing nearby for those wanting a slower pace. A pub, bar and a couple of restaurants nearby cover evening meals without needing to travel far. It's a fitting choice for active breaks on Anglesey rather than a base for nightlife or shopping.
What guests say
Prefect place to chill and relax, peaceful with a paring spot on driveway. Very reasonable priced too.

Amazing stay! This cosy unit is in a great location. Perfect if you want to enjoy the beautiful countryside for a few days or if you are just catching a ferry to/from Ireland. Danielle is amazing and she’ll go the extra mile to make sure you have a comfortable stay.

Cosy but functional room, nicely decorated we especially liked the map of Angelsey. The bed was very comfy and pillows were perfect for us. The only negative is the breakfast I saw reviews prior to the stay saying it was porridge and cereal bars. As I'm lactose intolerant I can have neither of these unfortunately so had to venture out for breakfast.

Very cosy lovely little place to stay after getting the boat from Dublin. Only few miles from the port of Holyhead. Also lovely Hotel round the corner to get some dinner not too expensive. Overall for the price this is very cheap and get a very good value for your money! Get Tea Coffee, milk yogurts for breakfast in a small fridge. If I’m going passed here again will be staying again.
