What visitors say
I would like to say a massive Thank You to everyone at Escot Estate. Last weekend, I held my 40th birthday party there, and the staff on the day, and in the lead up to the party, couldn't have been any more helpful. It's such a beautiful house, with nature-filled grounds, and an interesting history. So many of my friends and family commented on how helpful the staff were, and how much they enjoyed exploring and using the grounds. We had 2 Devon Contemporary Marquees in the gardens for animal encounters and garden games, and the children loved running around the garden (and I loved watching the bees and butterflies go from flower to flower). We took over the library and dining room for an afternoon high tea (really yummy), an evening disco and photobooth and an evening chill out zone. We took over the entrance hall for the evening food (which was so delicious). We took over the front room for board games, photos, puzzles, and lego. Every space was used, and the staff there made setting up, moving around, clearing up so easy. Everything about the place is so local, well thought out, sustainable, working for nature. Thank you so much Escot House team for such a lovely day.

Had our Dad's wake here. Lovely venue and a fabulous team (special mention to Lindsey and Mirella who were wonderful). Highly recommend.

WOW! We had our dream wedding at Escot House. It was everything we hd wished for and more. We had the wedding package and it was such a bargain, I highly recommend this especially if you have a budget. All of our guests were amazed by how beautiful and well set out it was. Massive thanks to both Lucy and Jo for being there to answer any questions (especially from a overthinking bride) and plan the day so well and efficiently.

Beautiful walk around. Limited menu but great food! So much to do and see. The best bit ... Those Red Squirrels! Everyone should visit at least once in life.

Visitors say this animal park offers a good variety of animals, including bears and wolves, and features a well-maintained soft play area, a maze, and a Saxon village with activities. They also highlight the friendly and informative staff, reasonable prices, and convenient parking.
Some reviews mention the animal enclosures can be empty.
