We had an extremely chilled and peaceful stay here. The Shepherd Hut we stayed in was simply perfect. Hosts did everything they could to make our stay comfortable. Highly recommended.

We chose Top Riley The Barn for its simple direct booking and for the central Peak District location - it’s easy to get around, but still feels private after a day of exploring. The hosts were friendly, approachable and went above and beyond for us during some extreme weather. For anyone thinking of staying, just bring suitable shoes for the short walk up the field as it can get muddy, but the privacy and hot tub is definitely worth it!

Such a wonderful and peaceful stay in the Owl Cabin at Top Riley. Emma nipped out to meet me on arrival and let me know if I needed anything at all, just to reach out. I stayed at the start of November, it was quiet and beautifully Autumnal and I couldn’t ask for a more perfect location for my solo trip away to the Peak District. The cabin was cosy and perfect for what I needed. Just a short walk into the village and in a great location to travel to other wonderful places in the area. There was everything you could possibly need in the cabin, including all the kitchen utensils possible if you wanted to do a fully self catered stay. I felt comfortable and safe and I’d highly recommend anyone stay at Top Riley 🌟

We have stayed here twice and had a great experience both times. This accommodation is not cheap, however it is very well equipped and the hot tub is amazing. It is worth every penny for the absolute solitude. You are not overlooked and it is so quiet with spectacular views. Don’t forget your torch! Ideally located for Eyam centre and you can even get an Uber if you venture out for the night.
