About Greetham Retreat Certificated Location
Tucked away near the village of Greetham, this welcoming Certificated Location makes an excellent base for exploring the Lincolnshire Wolds. The site keeps things refreshingly simple while covering all the essentials – clean showers and toilets, electric hook-ups, and reliable WiFi that actually works. Dogs are welcome to join you, and the friendly, helpful hosts create a genuinely warm atmosphere that guests consistently praise.
Open year-round, it's particularly popular with families who appreciate the peaceful rural setting and easy access to nearby market towns. The pitches can feel a touch close together when busy, but the tranquil surroundings and good value more than compensate for this minor quibble.

What an excellent little site. It only has 5 pitches, but they are lovely. The site has about 4 acres of grounds to walk around with a small lake and good facilities. It's about 8 miles from Cadwell Park and 3 miles from Horncastle, so ideally placed. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The only downside was that there was only 1 toilet-shower room, but always clean and tidy. I had a lovely visit and would definitely go back.

Last day here today. We booked 8 nights but would happily stay longer!! Its a gem, a rural idyll. The owners have thought of everything you might need. The shower is spotless and spaceous with plenty of hanging space and a bench for belongings. The information room is filled with leaflets on places to go. The grounds themselves are big enough for a bimble with small dogs. Just off site are walks in the fields as short or as long as you need with public footpaths. Bring your wellies! In the summer months with strategically placed picnic benches, and a central pond it must be heaven. In winter this site is just lovely with views from every pitch. The site is shared with 5 self catering holiday cottages (not in use during our stay). There are washing/drying facilities which we didnt use. We came for a winter break to rewind and relax and we certainly did just that. We will certainly be back.

Spotless CL with WC & shower. Very friendly & helpful owners. Great spot for visiting Cadwell Park and lovely dog walking out. Walk to Blue Bell Pub at Belchford, via Viking Trail. The Steak Ciabata are worth the 8.5 mile round trip through lovely countryside & villages. The hamlet of Ashby Puerorum has a tiny but lovely church, easy walk from the site through the fields.
