Freeland Farmhouse Stables

This converted stable sits in open farmland on the edge of the South Downs National Park, surrounded by fields and with countryside pathways starting from the gate. The location puts you within easy reach of Goodwood, Petworth and Arundel, and a pub is less than a mile away. The setting suits walkers especially well, with bridleways and footpaths immediately accessible from the property.

Everything is on the ground floor. The open-plan living space has a wood burner and double doors opening onto a front terrace; the kitchen overlooks the fields towards the rear. One bedroom has a king bed, the other two singles. The shower room is accessible with just one step. There's an enclosed garden with a patio and seating, and parking on site. Electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included; you'll need to bring nothing but your bags.

The cottage suits couples, small families or friends looking for a rural base. No smoking inside. One well-behaved pet is welcome.
