What visitors say

Had a great time walking the Stocks resovoir circular route. Had to ask how to get to the start of it but once we found it was easy to follow the route. Loads of different walking and cycling routes to choose from and something for all abilities. Car park cost £7.50 for 4 hours but if you're a member of Forestry England it's free to park.

Good options for mountain bike trails for all abilities. Toilet facilities available. Bit steep on the parking charges but it does go back into the forest.

What a fantastic day at Gisburn Forest on E bikes hired from the local hire centre. My son and I had a great time. The trails are very well Maintained and are a credit to Forestry England. A word of warning, some of the reds are pretty technical, and I'd urge newbies to be prepared to jump off and push at certain points, as the rocks are slippy when wet, and a lot have been exposed that are pointy and throw you off line. I'm sure it's fab for more experienced folk. What I managed I really enjoyed.
