What visitors say
We had an amazing experience with Coats from start to finish. From our first visit we knew it was special and is the most gorgeous venue. Suzanne and Paulina were incredibly helpful throughout our day, keeping everything running smoothly and ensuring everyone stayed on schedule. The Couples Facebook group was such a valuable resource during the planning process – many of our questions had already been answered, and if we needed help, the team responded quickly and efficiently. We don’t live local so we’re concerned that might affect planning, but the online systems made everything so easy and seamless. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience- thank you Paulina and Suzanne!

I DJ’d at Adriana & Kenneth’s twilight wedding at Coats Paisley and the event & venue were outstanding. Smooth load-in, great acoustics, helpful coordination and attentive staff, the night ran flawlessly from first dance to last. Guests from Scotland and Slovakia kept the floor packed (and kindly introduced me to Goral Malinovica!). Catering was excellent - my pre-set steak pie hit the spot. A beautiful setting with professional service; highly recommended for couples who want an effortless, high-energy celebration. 10/10 - Ayrshire Wedding & Events

Stunning Perfect Wedding Venue We had our wedding here for 85 people in July 2026. Staff - all the staff we interreacted with were lovely, walm and welcoming, and professional, with every detail of our wedding recorded and easily available to anyone who we were dealing with. We were doing a few unusual things (e.g. no walking down the isle), but these were easily dealt with. Package - we did a dry hire (venue only) which comes with table and chairs and a wedding coordinator. We then simply used their preferred suppliers, which were all of the highest quality and at great price points. The package was well priced, just had several elements we don't want, and we're also control freaks who need to run everything. Administration - really easy to deal with. Booking was easy (obviously book well in advance obviously), and communication was easy through their online portal Sonas, where you can make payments, message them, and update information yourself directly. Very easy to use. Location / setting - the former church's gothic architecture was magnificent - it needs not additional adornment the place just speaks for itself. The ball room and fireplace room have been done up beautifully, lighter and a little more modern, charming and lovely. There are rooms off the church that are also amazing - a study I changed in and a room with several pianos we got some pics in. They are also improving the space even in the year between booking and the wedding - newly paved drive and the greenery has improved - a lovely outside space. On the day - Suzanne the wedding coordinator knew exactly what was happening at all points in time and worked seamlessly with the other suppliers (mostly regulars of Coats) to produce a very memorable day that flowed perfectly with no stresses (from us at least). Everyone commented on how calm and easy the day was.

My partner and I got married here in October. We were told by a couple of self proclaimed “wedding haters” that it was the best wedding they’d ever been to and I am inclined to agree. The venue and staff were all to do with that. Everyone at the coats went above and beyond to ensure that our day ran seamlessly. My flowers didn’t arrive on the day but Suzanne made sure that didn’t put a damper on the day and made me a bouquet last minute so I had something for my photographs. The bar is very reasonably priced and everyone including myself was surprised by the slushies available. We chose the buffet option for food and had so much positive feedback from guests about it. So many people said that they preferred the buffet over a traditional sit down meal. I would wholeheartedly recommend coats for any and all events they are beyond perfection.
