The Calving Shed is a converted barn on a working farm in East Renfrewshire, where you arrive to find everything on one ground floor. The open-plan living space combines a sitting area with a wood burner, a dining zone, and a kitchen fitted with an induction hob and combination oven. A super king bed (which splits into two singles if needed) occupies the bedroom, while the bathroom has a bath and shower. Outside, a private hot tub sits in the lawned courtyard alongside garden furniture and a BBQ.
The essentials—electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi—are covered, along with logs for the burner. Parking is provided for two cars; there's also bike storage and stabling for horses. One dog can stay free, though it must be kept on a lead as you're on an active farm. Smoking is not permitted indoors.
Woodland walks start directly from the property. Glasgow and Paisley are a short drive away, offering museums, galleries and restaurants. Loch Lomond and The Trossachs lie 35 miles north; the Ayrshire coast, including beaches and historic sites, is within reach; and Edinburgh or Stirling can be reached in about an hour. A pub and shop are 2 miles away.

Amazing place for a brake or get away. Secluded drive to an open yard and horses. Hot tub on decking with bbq and a farm house kept to an origonal theme. Make what you make of it we had a great time

Beautiful place, amazing location what a special wee find this place is. Very comfortable stay, cottage well equipped with everything needed. Log burner lovely to have and the hot tub is really fantastic, great views and overall a fabulous weekend. Will definitely book again 100%. Highly recommend! Thanks to the hosts for such a great experience ❤️🍾

Absolutely loved our stay here. Beautiful views, rustic, quiet accomodation. It's got a really comfortable feel to it. The fireplace makes you feel so at home. Fantastic furnishings, lovely decor. Kitchen well supplied with utensils etc for cooking meals. We especially loved seeing the horses, and the dogs, and even caught a glimpse of the odd beautiful cat. We live locally and just adore this place. We will be back. We couldn't have felt more comfortable. I'd recommend it to anyone.
