Brough Hall is a first-floor apartment within a converted Victorian mansion in Paisley's Oakshaw Conservation area. The building itself dates from the early 20th century, built in Scottish Baronial style on the site of Peter Brough's former home—a significant Paisley industrialist. It was originally a nurses' home before being divided into private apartments. This one sleeps two in a super king bed, with a shower room, and an open-plan living and dining space with high ceilings and large windows overlooking the quiet, leafy street.
The kitchen is galley-style with a gas hob and electric oven, microwave, fridge and washer-dryer, so you can cook properly or keep things simple. Heating, electricity, wi-fi and linen are all included. There's parking for one car on site. The location suits couples wanting access to both Glasgow's cultural attractions and the countryside of central and southern Scotland without staying in the city itself. A pub is within walking distance, and the University of the West of Scotland's Paisley Campus is nearby. No smoking indoors.
