Last month myself and my husband had our wedding at Island Hall and we couldn't of been happier with our experience. Grace and her entire team worked very hard to make our day so special. Grace and the team were on hand throughout the day so make sure that we were running on schedule but to also make sure that all the guests were happy. The house and gardens itself are stunning and made the perfect background for photos. It was our ideal venue as it was local to us, had plenty of space and gave us the option to move from one area to another. Unlike in some wedding venues were you have your ceremony and reception in the same room, at Island Hall we had our wedding in the house, progressed to the lawn for drinks and canapes to a marquee on the island for food and reception. The island is beautiful and feels like your own private island for the day. Grace made it very easy as she was able to suggest suppliers that she trusted and knew would provide exactly what a couple would be after. We wanted to make a big shout out to Martin as without him we wouldn't of had the experience we did! We HIGHLY recommend Island Hall as a wedding venue!

The most stunning, unique and interesting venue for a wedding. Island Hall was really flexible with helping our vision for our wedding to come to life. There are so many different beautiful photo opportunities in a gorgeous garden and a variety of backdrops to use. Island Hall offers a boat for the bride and groom to arrive on which our guests loved to see. We felt super calm, happy and relaxed in the gardens and the house.

We hosted my Mums 70th birthday party at Island Hall for 35 people and we all had a fantastic time. Grace and the team did everything to support the event- from helping us find a pianist, arranging fresh flowers, organising the tea and cakes and guiding us through the day. The grounds and house are beautiful and the perfect location for any event!

Choosing this venue was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the moment we first visited, it felt less like a venue and more like being welcomed into a beautiful family home. The setting is simply magical – mature gardens, stunning architecture, and an idyllic island overlooking the river. What truly sets this place apart, however, is the people. The entire team treated us like friends rather than clients. They were endlessly kind, helpful, and genuinely invested in making our day special. Every detail felt personal and tailored to us, and they went above and beyond to accommodate our needs throughout the planning process. In a world where many wedding venues can feel like production lines, processing hundreds of weddings a year, this experience was refreshingly different. We never felt like just another booking in the diary. The care, attention and genuine enthusiasm shown by everyone involved made us feel incredibly special, and it was clear that our wedding mattered to them personally. The family behind the venue have created something truly unique. Their warmth, care and attention to detail shine through in every aspect of the experience. They also introduced us to fantastic suppliers, making the whole day so wonderful. Our wedding day felt completely our own, it was elegant, relaxed and deeply personal all at once. If you're looking for a venue that offers more than just a beautiful setting—one that makes you feel valued, cared for and genuinely celebrated—we cannot recommend it highly enough. Huge thank yous are owed to Grace, Christopher and the team!
