The Old Chapel Cottage
North Yorkshire
Ingleton sits on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, surrounded by caves, waterfalls and hills. The village works as a base for exploring the national park or simply settling into countryside quietness. The Old Chapel Cottage, a 400-year-old converted cottage, occupies this setting with views across the dales from its rear garden.
Inside, exposed beams and a log burner give the sitting room its character; the kitchen is equipped for self-catering with a dishwasher and washing machine. Two bedrooms sleep four: the main has a double bed, the second a single with a pull-out truckle underneath. One bathroom serves both. A south-facing patio and garden face the hills, practical for summer evenings. A pub lies within a mile of the property. The essentials—electricity, bed linen and towels—are provided.
This is a no-smoking property. It suits couples, small families or friends wanting to walk, explore geological sites, or simply retreat from busier surroundings.
