About Philpin Farm Campsite
Perched on a working hill farm in the Yorkshire Dales, this small two-tiered site puts serious walkers minutes from the trailheads for two of the Yorkshire Three Peaks. The camping fields sit at the top and bottom of a gentle slope (cars stay near the upper area), and the peaceful setting feels genuinely remote despite being just ten minutes from Ingleton and the landmark Ribblehead Viaduct on the Settle-Carlisle Railway.
The farm barn doubles as a social hub, with weekend breakfasts, packed lunches, homemade cakes and a snack bar that earns glowing mentions from guests. There are 24-hour vending machines for late-night supplies, plus free Wi-Fi and those all-important emergency rain ponchos if you've misjudged the forecast. Showers and toilets are kept spotless, and the owners enforce a firm no-noise policy after dark to preserve the tranquillity.
A 17th-century inn sits five minutes' walk away; Ingleton's shops and chippy are a short drive for anything else.

What visitors say
Philpin Farm is a lovely place. Stayed a couple of nights solo adventuring and found everything pretty perfect. Owners, location, facilities, vibe: all excellent. Top notch breakfast and packed lunch options made for a hassle free stay, especially for a not so regular camper.

Stayed with my three kids, lovely quiet site, good pitch areas, didn't try the cafe but used the barn to play games when we had an attack of the midges, bring some repellent! Great showers, toilets, washing up area and drinking water all for a really low cost. Highly recommended!

An oasis when on the Y3P. Lovely campsite, lovely to see nature also thriving alongside the farm. You can even book breakfast.

Lovely campsite, clean toilets/showers even provide toilet rolls and washing up liquid. Great food from snack bar, plus drinks and snacks during week from vending machines which are always well stocked. You can also buy air beds/blankets/hats/gloves/pegs etc etc. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.
