The Great Glen Way runs right past the site, making it a natural stop for walkers and cyclists, while the surrounding hills and riverside trails promise plenty of exploration. Fort Augustus is four miles away, where you'll find golf, boat trips on Loch Ness, and access to the area's castles and villages. Fishing on the Moriston and canoeing on the loch are also within easy reach.
