Achnagairn Castle was everything we dreamed of and more for our wedding in Scotland. Planning a destination wedding from the United States could have been stressful, but the entire team made the process seamless from start to finish. A special thank you to Alison, who was incredible to work with. She was patient, responsive, informative, and helped us navigate every detail with confidence. We always felt supported, even from thousands of miles away. The castle itself is stunning, but what truly sets Achnagairn apart is the staff. Every member of the team was attentive, professional, and genuinely invested in making our weekend perfect. They handled everything so smoothly that we were able to relax and truly feel like guests at our own wedding. The bar team also deserves a shoutout—they crafted amazing drinks and somehow managed to keep up with our enthusiastic American guests and their seemingly endless rounds of shots all night long! Our family and friends are still talking about how magical the venue was and how exceptional the hospitality was throughout the weekend. We couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate with the people we love most.

I worked with the team here for one of my couples recently who were travelling from overseas to get married in Scotland. As a wedding planner in the industry for almost a decade, I cannot speak highly enough of the staff at Achnagairn. Everyone I spoke with (Tanya, Rita, Alison, Jade, Michal to name a few) were so accommodating, helpful and flexible throughout the planning and when onsite for the celebrations. An absolute joy and pleasure to work with and special shout out to their Wedding Coordinator Cara, an utter gem! My couple and their guests had the most wonderful time and I can't wait to be back later this year :)

Where do I begin? My husband and I got married here last weekend and it was an absolute dream come true. We are both from the states and after our original wedding venue cancelled on us and couldn’t honor our date, we didn’t know where to go from there. We are so thankful that happened because it brought us to Achnagairn. It’s cliche, but words cannot do this venue and experience any justice. Cara, Jade, Joris — the entire staff, are so incredibly helpful and accommodating. You truly feel like home being here. Staying here and having our wedding take place over a few days was the best weekend of our entire lives. Guests can’t stop talking about everything we coordinated for them but also just how incredible the staff, the rooms, the grounds — EVERYTHING was. We are so grateful we got to have this experience and we miss it already. It feels like you’ve made lifelong friends working with the people at Achnagairn.
