Firthside touring park three miles west of Inverness on the Beauly Firth

About Bunchrew Caravan Park

Bunchrew Caravan Park occupies a sheltered spot on the Beauly Firth, just three miles west of Inverness along the A862. The site divides neatly between open waterside pitches with views across to the Black Isle hills and quieter woodland spots tucked among mature trees, giving campers a choice between outlook and shade. Electric hook-ups are available on most of the grass pitches, and facilities include modern shower blocks, laundry, a small shop and a children's play area.

The location works particularly well as a base—close enough to Inverness for supplies and sightseeing, yet within easy reach of Loch Ness, Culloden and the Black Isle. At low tide, the firth itself draws seals and wading birds, and the woodland provides useful shelter when Highland weather turns. It's a reliably practical choice for families and couples exploring the area, though some visitors note that parts of the site could benefit from a refresh.

Stayed here for one night. Really friendly and helpful staff. Stunning views and very calm / relaxing atmosphere.\\nStrange thing to say but the drinking water tasted fantastic. We filled our water tank with it and can't get enough of it! The rest of the trip we both kept saying how nice the water was.\\nThanks, will stay again if in the area.

Brilliant site, fantastic pitches directly overlooking the estuary if you like, or more sheltered, plenty of choice. We booked online for an electric pitch but decided to go on the waterside. Good choice as we.woke up to beautiful sunshine and had our coffee in bed with the van doors open looking out, priceless! Very chill, rock up and choose your place if out of hours. There are picnic tables and at least one barbeque to use. Facilites are good, hot showers. Stunning.

Stayed here for a week near the end o the off peak season was very nice. Yes the facilities are a bit dated but they do the job and was nice to have a warm shower in the morning and within good driving distance of many different locations. It was peaceful quite relaxing to hear the water and birds. The staff were friendly and helpful, they answered any questions we had and gave good recommendations of what to do depending on where we were going or doing that day. would definitely stay here again
