Island Hut Retreats - Shepherds Hut Two
Isle of Anglesey
Island Hut Retreats - Shepherds Hut Two sits in rural Anglesey countryside near the coastal village of Benllech. The hut itself is compact and self-contained, a single space divided into sleeping, living and kitchen areas on the ground floor. You get a double bed, a shower room, and enough kitchen equipment to cook proper meals rather than just heat things up. The sitting-out area at the front has garden furniture and views across the fields. One dog can stay here free of charge, though it must be kept on a lead—sheep graze nearby. Parking for two cars is on site, and wi-fi works throughout.
The essentials are covered: electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and a welcome pack come as standard. The location makes sense for exploring Anglesey. Benllech Beach is close by, the Anglesey Coastal Path runs for 130 miles with sea views and wildlife spotting, and boat trips to Puffin Island and around the Menai Strait operate from nearby. Inland, Beaumaris Castle and Plas Newydd House and Gardens are accessible drives. South Stack Lighthouse is also in the region. No smoking is permitted in the hut.
