Melin Newydd Cottages - The Windmill
Isle of Anglesey
Photo: Google Maps
The Windmill is a converted windmill on the Isle of Anglesey, furnished and equipped for four people. The ground floor holds an open-plan living space with kitchen and dining area; upstairs are two double bedrooms, each with its own bathroom; and a third-floor living room with a balcony overlooking rural countryside. The kitchen has everything needed for self-catering—electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and microwave—and there is a washing machine on the ground floor. Bed linen, towels and wifi are included, along with heating and parking for three cars.
This is one of three holiday properties converted from farm buildings at Melin Newydd, set in a quiet part of Anglesey about 5 miles from the beach at Rhosneigr. The restoration has retained original features throughout. The location suits anyone wanting a base for exploring Anglesey's 125 miles of coastline, visiting the RSPB reserve at South Stack, Plas Newydd, Beaumaris castle, or even Snowdonia on the mainland. A shop, pub and restaurant are within a few miles. The property does not accept children under 6 years old and operates a no-smoking policy.
