Mossveil Cottage

Mossveil Cottage is a historic house dating to 1540, now run as a luxury rental across nine bedrooms and six bathrooms. It sleeps up to 20 guests in their entirety—ideal for large family gatherings, milestone celebrations, or groups of friends seeking a substantial base. The property sits on five acres of coastal land with views across the Menai Strait toward Snowdonia. A hot tub is available for guests to use. Wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included; you simply arrive and settle in.

The house balances its Grade II-listed heritage with contemporary comforts throughout. Electricity and heating mean the place functions as a modern home, not a museum piece. The setting works for both adventure and quietness—the Anglesey Coastal Path runs nearby for walks with ocean views, while Menai Bridge and Beaumaris are close enough for meals out or exploring. Smoking is not permitted inside. One well-behaved pet is welcome. Check-in is after 16:00 and checkout before 10:00.
