This single-bedroom cottage sleeps two in a ground-floor layout where the bedroom, kitchen and living space flow together, keeping things simple without clutter. The shower room is modern and walk-in, and the kitchen has what you need to cook—hob, fridge, kettle, toaster. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are covered. One well-behaved pet stays free, and there is parking for two cars on site.

The cottage sits in Newborough village on Anglesey's western coast. An enclosed front garden gives you a spot to sit outside, and from here it's a short walk to Newborough Forest, a significant red squirrel reserve that meets a beach where you can reach Llanddwyn Island. The village itself has a shop, café, pub, fish and chip shop and local museum. Beaumaris, with its castle and independent traders, is under 30 minutes away by car. Across the island, 125 miles of coastline offer countless beaches, coastal paths and wildlife-spotting. Boat trips to Puffin Island run seasonally from various points. Smoking is not permitted indoors.
