Y Potel Inc

Y Potel Inc is an 18th-century detached cottage built from stone with a slate roof, standing on 75 acres of grounds near Llanfairpwllgwyngyll. The building retains period character—exposed beams run through the rooms—but has been updated with underfloor heating throughout and two wood-burning stoves for cooler evenings. A private hot tub sits in the enclosed garden, which looks over fields and woodland.

The layout is all on the ground floor: a combined living and dining space with a wood burner and Freeview TV, a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and electric cooking, and utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. The first bedroom contains a double bed and has its own ensuite shower; the second has two single beds. Both bedrooms are served by the underfloor heating system. Wi-Fi, bed linen, towels and the initial fuel for the stoves are included. Cots and highchairs are available if needed. You have private parking and full use of the 75-acre grounds.

The cottage suits families or small groups seeking a quiet base on Anglesey. The Anglesey Coastal Path is under a mile away, with access to beaches and walking trails. Beaumaris Castle, Plas Newydd, and Snowdonia are within reach for days out. No smoking is permitted.
