About Brighstone Holiday Centre

Brighstone Holiday Centre is a seasonal RV park on Military Road in Brighstone, with showers and a play area. The setting overlooks the English Channel, making it a practical base for families and touring caravanners visiting the Isle of Wight. The site operates as a casual resort rather than a formal touring park, with modest on-site accommodation.

The play area suits families with children, and the seasonal nature means you'll find a more relaxed atmosphere than a year-round commercial site. For those wanting to explore beyond the site, a few minutes' walk brings you to food options including the Munch box at Grange Farm. There is no onsite parking for non-campers, so visitors should use the layby outside.

I am really disappointed because my friend told me there was a skate park there and I was really looking forward to going to the skate park. Are you even went out of my way to purchase a skateboard knee protection And a helmet. I was really looking forward to going down the ramps on my new skateboard. I drove all the way there and it turned out. There was nothing there. It’s all been knocked down don’t make the same mistake I did because now I’m stuck with a skateboard knee protection and a helmet I am really disappoint

Stayed here in a chalet with my young grandson when attending my eldest grandson's wedding last year. Our chalet was spotless. We had the choice of three beds all of which were very comfortable. The owners were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the on site cafe was amazing. Plenty to eat, beautifully cooked and nothing was too much trouble for the friendly staff. Perfect for us, perfect weather and perfect wedding at the nearby Apple Farm. Unforgettable weekend.

To start with, the photos and facilities you see here on google are of yesteryears. They say the rooms and shower/ toilet facilities are closed because of COVID-19 but no. They have been sealed, while the neighbouring campsite has all the facilities open. My assumption is because the cliff edge had collapsed, the facilities were sealed-off. There is no beach access. There is no wifi. no breakfast. It is just a land with electric supply to power your RVs. The worst stay experience I had. The site manager was one of the most rude and arrogant people I have ever met in my life. Evicting someone from camp site without any warning or any discussion is not human at all and that too on a weekend when there were no other accommodation available on the island and the ferry service to main land was all full. We had to sleep in the car in a public car park for whole night till we got access to the ferry. He completely ruined our holidays.

Beautiful views to wake up to!!! Nice camping areas, not packed in like sardines with ample play areas for the kids and dog. Big heated indoor pool, with a kids playground and BBQ area. Very retro but very clean campsite with access to kitchen when it is too wet and windy to cook (and boy can it get windy!!!), and an on-site laundrette for drying your swimming cossies. Even has a pool table and some arcade machines to keep the kids entertained. Excellent for cliff top walks, though I think some kind of fence would give parents and dog owners a little more peace of mind. All in all, a very enjoyable camping experience. Highly recommended and will come again!!!
