Gate House

Bembridge's beaches, sailing harbour and shops are within walking distance of Gate House, while Sandown and its attractions—Wildheart Animal Sanctuary among them—are a short drive away. The Crab and Lobster Inn is nearby for evening meals. Bembridge Windmill, the island's only surviving example, stands close enough to visit on foot; you can climb inside to see how it once operated as a working mill.

The house sleeps six across three bedrooms: a double with an en-suite shower, a second double, and a twin. Two bathrooms serve the property—one with both a bath and cubicle shower. Downstairs, the living and dining rooms open onto a conservatory, and the kitchen is fitted with a full range of appliances including a dishwasher. A utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer suits longer stays. Electricity, heating, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are included. Off-street parking accommodates two cars; an enclosed garden with patio and furniture provides private outdoor space. The property is non-smoking. One well-behaved pet is welcome.
