Behind the house, a terraced rear garden climbs steeply—the decking at the top catches the sun and is furnished with rattan seating for outdoor meals, though the steps between levels are notably steep and uneven in places. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed. Wi-Fi, heating and the wood burner fuel are all covered; bring towels or use the ones provided.

The seafront is a short walk away, with a sandy beach, coastal paths and Ventnor's independent shops and cafés within easy reach. The town's relaxed seaside character suits families wanting to explore on foot rather than move on daily. No smoking inside the property.
