Gladices Barn

The Isle of Wight's rural heart holds Gladices Barn, a converted farmhouse within a 250-acre private estate. Seven bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, spread across two floors—five with super kingsize beds, one with a four-poster double, and one with a zip-and-link arrangement that splits into singles if needed. The property sleeps 14 and is yours alone for the duration of your stay, with private parking for ten cars and an enclosed garden including a barbecue.

Ground-floor living focuses on a spacious open-plan room with a 48-inch television, wood-burning stove and French doors onto a balcony. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with a range cooker, dishwasher and American-style fridge. A utility room handles laundry. Bedlinen, towels and wifi are included; there's a cot and highchair available if you need them. Between May and September, a private hot tub is available for use. The property does not permit smoking.

Large family groups, multi-generational gatherings and corporate retreats all fit here comfortably. The estate grounds are shared, but the barn itself and its gardens are private to you. Bike storage is provided if you want to explore the island's quieter lanes.
