Greenwood Cottage

Greenwood Cottage suits families wanting space to spread out, couples after a quiet base, or groups of friends who don't mind bunking in together. The property sits on an 11-acre working farm on the eastern side of the island, where you'll have access to the grounds and woodland paths leading towards Brading High Down. There's stabling available if you bring horses, and a public footpath running through the land.

Downstairs holds a bedroom with single and bunk beds, a sofa bed, pool table and table tennis. Upstairs opens into a living space with a 50-inch TV and dining area, plus a separate king-size bedroom and shower room with heated towel rail. The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob and microwave for proper cooking. Bed linen, towels, wifi and heating are all included; there's a garage with freezer space and parking for three cars. One well-behaved pet stays free.

Beaches at Yaverland, Sandown and Shanklin lie within reach for day trips. Brading Roman Villa, with its mosaics and archaeology museum, is close by on foot. The setting is quiet enough that wildlife matters here—this isn't a manicured garden but genuine countryside. No smoking inside, and note there are no enclosed garden areas.
