Sands Cottage

You arrive at Sands Cottage to find an open-plan living and dining room on the ground floor, with a kitchen fitted for proper cooking—electric oven and hob, fridge-freezer, washing machine—and a bathroom with bath and shower. The first floor holds two bedrooms: a double and a bunk room with a double bed on the base and single above (the top suited to children). A separate toilet upstairs rounds out the layout. The cottage comes with essentials including bed linen, towels and wifi; there's also a travel cot, highchair and stairgate if needed. A patio garden with furniture sits out front, and on-road parking is available nearby.

St Helens is a traditional village on the Isle of Wight's east coast, between Bembridge and Ryde. The beach lies within walking distance, edged by sandy stretches and the remains of an old church. A pub in the village serves family meals, and a cafe-restaurant with views sits near the shore. The local green hosts cricket matches, sports events and car boot sales. One dog is welcome; smoking is not permitted inside.
