Ye Olde Cottage
Isle of Wight
Ye Olde Cottage is a 17th-century stone cottage in Niton village, retaining original features like exposed beams and fireplaces. The ground floor opens into a living room with a woodburner and entertainment, flowing through to a dining room and a kitchen equipped for self-catering—oven, hob, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer are all here. Upstairs are three bedrooms (a double, another double, and a single) and a bathroom with bath and shower. Heating, electricity, wifi, bed linen and towels are included.
Three cars can park on site. Outside, an enclosed garden has a patio, furniture and a gas barbecue. The property has steps in the garden. A general store, pub and restaurant are within walking distance. The Undercliff Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, St Catherine's Lighthouse and Blackgang Chine are nearby; the beach is three miles away. Ventnor town and Compton Bay are accessible for more varied days out. The cottage does not accommodate smoking.
