About New Green End Farm

Tucked into quiet Bedfordshire countryside near Kensworth, New Green End Farm offers genuinely back-to-basics camping with the rare bonus of campfires allowed – a simple pleasure that draws happy repeat visitors. The 30 non-electric grass pitches feel refreshingly low-key, with showers, toilets and drinking water covering the essentials.

Families appreciate the relaxed, dog-friendly atmosphere, though facilities can feel a touch basic (there's no chemical disposal point, for instance) and the site occasionally shows signs of needing a little TLC. Still, if you're after uncomplicated camping under canvas with evenings spent around the fire rather than scrolling for WiFi, this straightforward spot delivers exactly that.

I’ve been living in my truck here for a bit now, and I absolutely love it. It’s the perfect place to get back to nature - the campsite is surrounded by forests which is healing for the soul

Pop up campsite with open plan field , toilet and shower facilities. Great value for money and close to local pub . Only a short walk away from Whipsnade zoo.

(No stars put in ‘rooms’ as we were camping in our own tent). I camped for 1 night with my two daughters. Great location, it had everything we wanted: Wildlife, toilets, a warm shower, water, a sink and the communal fridge and freezer were a great and helpful addition during the hot weekend! We are going to stay again :)

This campsite is not very well signposted so may take a while to find if following sat nav using the postcode. The campsite itself is in an ideal location in the chilterns close to Dunstable downs. The grass is very well kept especially considering cars are allowed onto the pitch area to unload. The toilet and shower block were in good condition and clean. There does not appear to be a noise curfew which I actually think is a good idea. All groups kept noise to a minimum but were still being able to enjoy themselves. The site was silent by 11pm without the need for an enforced policy. The farmers boy pub is a short walk away and I also noticed some small stores in the village. The only negative point is the price of the pitch for a solo camper with a one man tent. I’ve paid a lot less for campsites in better locations and with better facilities.
