Quiet sandy beach with shallow sea bathing (when warm enough!) Good views of Saltcoats and Ardrossan. Popular with dog walkers.

Absolutely lovely beach, not to busy either considering first, good weather bank holiday out of lockdown we have had. Clean, clear water, we spent over 6 hours here (most of it in the water) fantastic way to spend the day with family who haven't been able to see each other in over a year because of restrictions.

Grew up in the area and always enjoy a walk along the promenade when I visit. Great beach spot.
