It's big. Plenty of space to wander around and signs explaining the local floraabd fauna are good for children. Excellent cafe, but we found no visitor information centre where mobility scooters and trikes are supposed to be available. The paths we found need some maintenance, but on a good day, it's one of the best places.

Pleasant countryside walks despite some pervasive traffic noise. Well-managed grassland areas and interesting features such as the remains of an old castle. Car parking is free, there's lots of spaces and no height restriction.

The volunteers of the park run are a dedicated and approachable group. All of whom happily give their free time, and should be commended for their community spirit.
