We were looking for a site where we could pitch 3 hammocks, when we arrived I was initially a little dissapointed to find our pitch only had 3 trees with a distance suitable between them, how ever, we made it work and in actual fact created the best set up we could have. Many other campers really liked our camp and commented positivly. We really enjoyed hot chocolate sitting round a campfire. Harry was friendly and helpful. The toilets and showers were very basic but felt clean although old. The dawn chorus was wonderful so if you are looking at getting away and not being stuck in the middle of a crowded field and want to feel the sunlight trickling through the leafy trees, this is a wonderful site. Closer to nature but with facilities.

We are on our second night 03/05/26 at Dreamy Hollows, This site is amazing, great sized pitches nestled amongst the trees. Each pitch has its own seating area, with picnic bench; we felt special we had a throne carved out of a tree on ours. We are in a camper, only 2 pitches for camper vans, ( Camper Glade) so we fell lucky as we booked last minute and it’s a bank holidayStaff are super friendly and very welcoming. Yes some of the amenities are basic, but what they do have work fine, they are clean Pot washing area Toilets hot / cold water Warm showers Grey water point Toilet waste point. all meet the needs for back to basics camping. we couldn’t fault them. You get a fire pit for free, ( very rare these days) We sat beside the fire watching the bats for hours. One of the wardens showed us the world war 1 trenches and bunker. ( and twisted my arm to buy a book lol😉) if you are looking for an idyllic place to chill & unwind with no noise except for the bird songs this is your place. Following a recommendation from a mate, my partner and I booked two nights in Clint's pitch which was absolutely wonderful! Being used to backpacking and wild camping, Dreamy Hollow was exactly that; dreamy. Perfect mixture of wilderness with couple of home comforts such as clean loos and nice warm showers which were a lovely touch. Wheelbarrows are provided to ferry your bits and bobs to your pitch which is handy if you're traveling on the heavier side and you can buy fire starter kits and log bags on site which is great for the evenings. The pitches themselves are nicely sized and you'll definitely be visited by the wildlife which was lovely to see and hear whilst on camp. Harry was super friendly and helpful, pointing us to our pitch, explaining a few rules for the campsite and also pinged a text with the gate code prior to our arrival - thank you! A really lovely stay and I can't wait to come back 😊

Great little campsite with most pitches shaded by the woodland boughs. The pitches are set out in a thoughtful way offering privacy if you want it, or a more sociable experience. It's a pretty unique location with an interesting history linked to WW1, or plenty of information boards about the local wildlife. The wardens, Harry and Jonathan, elevate the whole experience with a warm welcome and little nuggets of local information. Top lads. It seems that a lot of thought and care has gone into making this site into a quirky little gem in the north Norfolk countryside.
