A substantial farmhouse conversion near King's Lynn, Abbey Barn Farmhouse spreads across three floors with eight bedrooms and seven bathrooms, accommodating up to 16 guests. The ground floor centres on a large open-plan living and dining space, with a second sitting room, a fully equipped kitchen and two shower rooms. Upstairs, six further bedrooms include four with en-suites featuring roll-top baths or walk-in showers. The top floor has another bedroom with its own en-suite, plus a family bathroom. Bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included, along with heating and electricity. A garden with patio and seating overlooks the grounds, and private parking is available for ten cars.
The property works well for multi-generational family gatherings or friend groups needing to stay together without the formality of a hired venue. Travel cots and highchairs are on hand for younger children. No smoking is permitted indoors, and barbecues or fireworks are not allowed. Arrive from 4pm and depart by 10am.

If you’re looking for a breathtaking, beautiful wedding venue you should absolutely booked Abbey Barn! We recently had our wedding day there and absolutely loved every second. The UNV team were nothing short of amazing, with their extensive knowledge and advice, as well as seamless planning and communication meant the day went off without a hitch. A special thank you goes out to Megan Culley, our wedding coordinator, without her help the day wouldn’t have been the same! We just had our wedding at Abbey Barn and we cannot fault it. Liv was our wedding planner and she created such a seamless day where everything ran so smoothly. She organised with all of our suppliers so all we had to do was turn up on the day. The staff were so friendly and all of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue is. I’m very grateful to Liv and UNV for giving us the best day possible!

Full disclosure - we're wedding photographers. Abbey barn is a fairly new venue to us, though very close to where we live. We got to shoot there for the first time in 2024 and were really impressed how established and well organised we found it. Though the grounds are obviously quite new and the landscaping will take a season or two to really settle in - the buildings, ether newly built or more established are excellent and really well tuned to weddings. We really liked the farmhouse and facilities for getting ready and the covered area which allows outdoor ceremonies or shade and shelter during the reception. it's a versatile space with good staff at work too. Impressed and looking forward to our return.
