Pentney Abbey Estate Glamping

We got married at Pentney Abbey in August 2025 and from the moment we first visited we completely fell in love and knew straight away that it was the venue for us. The setting is absolutely beautiful and it just felt so special from the very beginning. One of the highlights before the wedding was the tasting evening. It was such a wonderful experience to be able to sample the menu and see the venue dressed for a wedding. It really helped us picture how our own day would look and feel and the food was incredible. We were also so lucky to have the most fantastic wedding planner, Katie. She handled the entire process and our wedding day like an absolute professional. Katie was always so quick to reply to every email and request and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. She truly helped make the day feel personal and exactly how we had imagined it. Our wedding day itself was simply amazing and everything we dreamed it would be. From the accommodation, to the set up, the meal and the evening celebration every single part of the day was perfect. The whole team at Pentney Abbey were incredibly professional and not one detail was missed. We received so many lovely comments from our suppliers, guests and family about how beautiful the venue was and how smoothly everything ran. If you are thinking about Pentney Abbey as your wedding venue you will not regret it at all. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special day.

Nice unusual place, but very cold, despite the heaters. Poor live video link to watch the wedding in the bar for those who can't climb the steep stairs to the ceremonial room. Hot drinks not available from the bar.

I absolutely loved photographing a wedding at Pentney Abbey. It’s ticks all of the boxes for great images. The blend of old and new creates a really good visual dynamic and guiding guests through these locations as the day progresses keeps it really fun and interesting. The venue has a really stylish feel but still creates a relaxed atmosphere. The coordinators are brill. Give me a shout if you want an unbiased opinion/recommendation of the venue. We viewed Pentney Abbey as a potential wedding venue on a rainy, miserable Sunday in March 2023 - it’s safe to say we instantly fell in love with the venue and booked a date for June 2024. We were assigned Beck as our planner and honestly, you are so lucky if you get Beck! She answered all of our questions, pointed out some that we hadn’t thought about and always matched our own excitement for our upcoming big day. Beck, thank you so much for looking after us and helping us through the planning stages, you are a wonderful person and it felt like having a friend by our side throughout the planning process. We had the most amazing time on our wedding day in June. The venue speaks for itself really, it’s so picturesque and wonderful. The food was fabulous and we received so many compliments. The staff on the day were brilliant and it really helped everything go so smoothly. Thank you so much - we had the best day! Chris and Indre Xx
