Forest Cottage is a contemporary single-storey property built for comfort and convenience. Everything happens on the ground floor: a combined living and dining space sits at the heart of the home, with a fully equipped kitchen leading off it. Two bedrooms—one with a zip-and-link super king bed and ensuite roll-top bath, the other with a kingsize bed and separate shower room—give you private space to retreat to. Air source heating, electricity, wi-fi and towels are all included, so you arrive to a ready-made base.

The cottage occupies its own corner of 70 acres of private grounds within Thetford Forest, with an enclosed garden and a gate opening directly onto woodland trails. This setting suits walkers, cyclists and birdwatchers; high-level routes and bike paths crisscross the forest, and High Lodge forest centre with its Go Ape course lies nearby. Horse owners can make use of the stabling and grazing. Parking for one car sits on site, and a bike store keeps equipment dry between outings. One pet is welcome to stay free of charge.

Wellington Wood, Northwold and Mundford sit within a short drive, while Kings Lynn, Norwich, Cambridge and the North Norfolk coast are all reachable in under an hour. A shop, pub and restaurant are 2 miles away. The property draws a natural water supply via borehole and operates on a holiday-lets-only basis.
