Lavender Cottage

Lavender Cottage is a characterful timber-framed property with a single bedroom and bathroom, sleeping two guests. The ground floor comprises a living room with wood burner and smart TV, a kitchen/dining room equipped for cooking and entertaining, and a shower room. Upstairs, a four-poster bed occupies the bedroom. The essentials—electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wi-fi—are all included.

The real draw lies outside: an enclosed lawned garden with patio, firepit and barbecue. The garden houses a separate cinema room with a 10ft electronic screen, surround sound and wood burner—a genuine novelty for wet afternoons. One well-behaved pet stays free. Parking is available on road and at nearby public spaces. The cottage sits in the village centre, opposite a Grade I listed church, within reasonable reach of the Norfolk coast, Thetford Forest and market towns including Swaffham. A pub is a short walk away; shops and restaurants lie 1–2 miles off. No smoking indoors.
