Norfolk Coastal Cottages - The Dairy
King's Lynn and West Norfolk
View on Google MapsA converted barn standing just moments from Heacham South Beach, The Dairy combines period character with practical coastal living. The property sits on one level downstairs where it matters most: a combined living and dining space opens through French doors onto a sheltered patio garden, while the kitchen has everything needed for self-catering. A shower room completes the ground floor. Upstairs, three bedrooms sleep six—a kingsize, a double, and bunks—plus a full bathroom with bath and shower.
The open-plan layout means the six of you can gather easily indoors, and the enclosed garden provides a private spot to sit out without leaving the property. Parking for two cars is on site. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included; you just need to bring food. One dog is welcome at no extra charge and must be kept on a lead. No smoking inside.
This stretch of Norfolk coast attracts people for the sandy beach itself—a quieter alternative to busier resorts—and the walking along the shoreline. Parkdean Resorts Heacham Beach Holiday Park is nearby if you want to explore wider facilities. The village of Heacham has a settled, unhurried feel.

We stayed in the Old Barn. It was full of character and charm along with the rustic surrounding buildings, it was a great place for us. Free off road parking and a 5 minute walk to the beach. Loads of shops within a 5 minute drive. We originally were going to stay in Hunstanton but we chose on Heacham because of the Old Barn. We went to Hunstanton and we're so pleased we stayed in Heacham.

We were lucky enough to stay in the Hayloft, a gorgeous well equipped 2 level accommodation, which gave us great sunrises each morning. Location was perfect, quiet and rural and a short walk to a lovely sandy beach. We used our “base” to explore Norfolk by car. Service at mYminiBreak was great, Nigel kept us informed by text right up until our arrival. Breakfast was lovely, fresh eggs and baked goods, and lots of tea to keep us going through the day. Beautiful place, we would highly recommend

We stayed in the churnery. The room was very clean, and had great charm. There is a skylight that lets you fall asleep looking at the stars! The location is less than 5 minutes walk to the dog friendly beach. Perfect place for a seaside holiday with your dog
