Sandy Toes

A minute on foot takes you from Sandy Toes to the beach at Searles Leisure Resort. The cottage sits upside-down, with both bedrooms and the bathroom on the ground floor—one with a king bed, the other with two singles—while the first floor holds the living space and kitchen, opening onto a veranda with partial sea views and an enclosed garden behind. A single step leads to the entrance.

The kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave and fridge-freezer for self-catering. Essentials like bed linen, towels, electricity and Wi-Fi are included. One dog stays free. The resort has on-site fishing, and you get a parking space. No smoking inside.

Kings Lynn town centre and its amusements are ten minutes' walk away. Hunstanton's red and white cliffs edge the coast, with rock pools exposed at low tide and walking routes all year round. Boat trips to see grey seals run seasonally, and the Sea Life Centre is nearby. Norfolk Lavender at Heacham and Sandringham House lie within driving distance; the Norfolk Broads, with hired boats and riverside restaurants, are within an hour.
