Stayed in a 6 berth caravan for the weekend accommodation was really nice well laid out and very clean and welcoming. Sited close to all the amenities as well. Site is well thought out with a variety of different holiday options available from caravans to touring to camping there was lots to choose from. Large main complex in the middle of the park with all the facilities u could need indoor play area small arcade and restaurant all situated in the main complex as well as an indoor pool splash area and a large outdoor pool with a slide something for everyone including a sauna and whirlpool. A large indoor family room with entertainment for all the family. Also on site there is a shop very well stocked with groceries a chip shop and a hire shop with pedal go karts and crazy golf. They really have a lot to offer the whole family. With very close beach access and earlier walking distance of all the of site attractions and town centre shop everything is so close by can leave the car and go and enjoy everything without he need to travel. Overall had a great time tried everything and will definitely be returning very soon

Had a week in June in a dog friendly caravan,we had a large family group in 3 caravans, vans and site were very clean, had a small issue for the maintenance team which was sorted almost instantly! We had two grandchildren with us and the staff are really excellent with the young ones.not a lot of info on the website about the fishing, but upon speaking to a few anglers one of the lakes had really just been let go as I saw myself, beautiful lily pads and fountain but it's just a water feature now as far as I could see,on the plus side the smaller lake has been otter fenced so that was a sign it held fish.really enjoyed fishing here, simple method feeder rig caught me 13 carp on an late afternoon session, very fit little carp of all types up to 5lb,Great fun. Please Searles put some profits into the upkeep of this lake, and would like to think a regeneration of the fountain lake and some more information on your website would surely attract more trade,I always stay at venues with fishing available, and that is a must for lots of holidaymakers. Overall holiday was excellent, swimming facilities are superb too.if you get up early like me you may even see the deer feeding outside your caravan 😁

We stayed here with are tourer for many years when are kids where young they are in there 30,s now. Not stayed here for 16 years since then but we booked a static caravan for disabled people becouse my wife has had new hip 6 weeks ago, and I had a stroke 10 weeks ago totally unexpected 9 days after retiring but we had booked before my stroke. No 131 was a lovely caravan really clean no issues with it at all, my issue is with our service, firstly you can't get in officially until 4.30 and you are told to get out on day of leaving at 9.30 does it take 7.30 hours to get a van ready for the next guests 11.00 would have been a good time for leaving the van, also becouse we had medical issues our beds where not made up for us sheets left in a plastic bag, no duvet as well, no toilet roll, and kitchen roll supplied, but on day ofleaving we saw your cleaners going past with both those items in there arms going to other caravans. Weather we where had these items unintentionally or not supplied it did great on us they were putting them other caravans, things like I've highlighted did course me to have to give a lower score for this holiday site which I have been going to since I was 7 now I am 68

Its a bit boring at this time of year as its quiet, not full services were available although there were enough people during this half term. This is a second time we visited, we love the location as its right by the beach. Entertainment is great in the evening, and some during the day, I'd say in summer it will be even better! However second time round the food has greatly disappointed us, is was very poor quality especially restaurant down in main Ambers restaurant. Looks and tastes bugdeted! We and the kids barely eaten anything so it was a waste. Slightly better food at the fountain bar a bit further. We stayed at gold lodge and it was lovely spacious 2 bed lodge perfect for the 4 of us. Although I am not a big fan of sticky tables and chairs I found it discomforting. It's nothing to do with cleanliness as I scrubbed it myself and it still remained sticky. Overall lovely pace, lots of amusements for kids (2p machines and all that) free softplay, indoor swimming (although for us it was freezing!!) Entertainment and the sea! We loved our short break. We might get back again but we will definitely avoid buying food at their restaurants next time.
