Stayed here last weekend. The site is lovely and in a great location. The on-site restaurant, The Engine Shed, is fantastic. There are lovely walks right from the site. The shower/toilet block is amazing, thoroughly modern and spotless. The best part for me was the Dog Shower. It was a lifesaver; the shower is over a big plastic grate so that the dogs do not stand in dirty water. The shower head has different settings and was powerful enough to wash the mud off my dogs. The reason for 4 stars is that the electricity went off a few times and it was freezing!. I would definitely go again.

Lovely well run site. Showers / toilets absolutely immaculate. On site bar the Engine shed serving food and drinks. Plenty of walking from the site. Tv reception is not the best but it didn't bother us. .

Great site. Friendly staff in reception and the onsite bar. Toilets and showers immaculately clean, water hot and plentiful. Lots walks nearby and 10 minute walk into village centre where there’s shops, cafes and pubs. Lovely stay here and would 100% stay again if in the area.

Stayed this weekend in motorhome. Site is spotless. Toilet block and showers immaculate. Shower stays on the whole time, no pressing buttons!!! Helpful and friendly staff. Will revisit soon. Some lovely walks and Kirkby Stephen is about 10 minutes away by foot.
