Caravan and motorhome park near Kirriemuir with electric hook-ups and showers.
About Drumshademuir Caravan Park
Drumshademuir Caravan Park takes caravans and motorhomes on pitches with electric hook-ups. Facilities include showers. The site is near Kirriemuir in Angus, putting you within reach of Glamis Castle, one of Scotland's most recognisable castles, which is a short drive away and offers guided tours, grounds to explore, and a range of facilities including a café. The town of Kirriemuir itself, known as the birthplace of Peter Pan author J. M. Barrie, has a museum dedicated to him and retains much of its Victorian character with independent shops and local amenities.
The area around the park offers walking country through the Angus glens, with routes ranging from gentle riverside walks to more challenging hill paths. Nearby Meigle is home to one of Scotland's most important Pictish stone collections in its museum. The Cateran Trail, a long-distance walking route, passes through the region for those wanting something more ambitious.

What visitors say
Touring caravan trip, nice toilets and laundry facilities, loads of hot water in the showers, very clean and tidy site. Quiet location a mile from Kirriemuir and the closest shops made it perfect for us. Great place to tour the east coast and the various Glens from Kirrie.
