Stayed in one of the pods for 1 night on a cycling trip. Accommodation was basic (as we knew and expected), cosy and clean. Hosts were good folks, helpful and friendly. The food was AWESOME! They bring it to your pod on a tray!! We had a great stay and would recommend. Only 1 shower so we had to wait a while but not a big deal. Thanks guys!! Rob and Andy. Keep up the great work.

We spent two nights camping in our own tent at Brandy House Farm. There are several camping 'pods' and just two camping pitches, which we booked, adjacent to each other on a grassy terrace below some trees (see photo). At the time of booking (May 2026), the camping pitch cost £15 per person per night. Each pitch was well kept and had great views towards Felindre and beyond. Bathroom facilities are just a minute's walk away, consisting of one toilet, one shower, and a sink for washing up. There was also an extension lead for charging electronic devices. No fridge or freezer. If travelling by car, it's possible to stop near the camping pitches to unload/load, but parking is a couple of minutes' walk up the track next to the livery centre. The owners were friendly, helpful, and not intrusive. The site is a working farm. Sheep and lambs grazed around our tent. At night we heard owls, and the dawn chorus was tremendous. Portable fire pits and firewood are available if wanted. There is no shop on site, but a community shop is a short walk away. There is also a pub, the Wharf Inn, which was friendly and used to passing walkers. The Glyndwr Way passes through the farm, and there are plenty of shorter local walks too. It was a peaceful place to spend a couple of nights and we would stay again.

Lovely cottage with beautiful garden and hot tub in great spot. Stables /field/ lorry all close by so really easy. Lovely hay. Great riding straight from the door. The take away food is a huge bonus and very good. Hosts medina and Richard really helpful and kind. Option of yard fairy also which was very spoiling. I very much hope to return, much to still to explore.

Booked camping here while walking Glyndŵr's Way. Ideal location, good facilities with good hot shower, indoor pot wash and sockets for charging. Owner was friendly and accommodating, located me on a nice pitch away from falling branches due to wind. I didn't use the food service but it all looked very nice and good value - great extra service. Only small suggestion would be a kettle in the kitchen area to help preserve gas. Overall, excellent, a lovely quiet spot.
