This was my first solo holiday with my dog and it was amazing, the Shanti hut is beautiful inside and out. As someone with an incredibly nervous dog, this place was brilliant as there was no need to meet anyone to get the keys to the hut and as it was off-season it was very quiet. There is enough space between the huts (and conveniently placed trees) that it feels very private, with a closed in wooden area with seating. I believe if you had a small dog (jack russel size) or a dog that’s very keen on escaping, it may fit between the steps of the hut. There’s loads of beautiful walking you can do around Llethrau, which is great as you can spend the day out and about and then go for a wander later on in the day. If you love nature, this is the place to be. I woke up at 4am and the dawn chorus of the birds was one of the most amazing things I’ve heard, another night I looked outside and there was a small group of deer directly outside my hut! There’s a lot to do around Llethrau as well, especially if you enjoy historical places. I couldn’t recommend Llethrau enough and will be visiting again :)

We wanted a place to go for NYE that was quiet and peaceful and we certainly found it here. We were in the cowboy hut and we loved it. We just lit the wood stove , walked our dog and read our books which was just what we wanted. If it’s peace and solitude you are looking for then this is for you, just be aware that the road in and out can be a bit hairy, especially in snowy conditions or you have a vehicle that wouldn’t suit dirt tracks and farm roads. Also, options for places to eat locally are very thin on the ground so come prepared with enough provisions or you may be driving a fair way out .

Stunning place to stay to unwind and relax. We stayed in the Alpine Cottage, and it has everything you would need for a few nights stay. The drive from the road to the cottage is up and down and the road isn't great, but when you get there, the setting it quiet and secluded. During our stay, we lost the key, Zoe and John quickly sorted a replacement out. Would definitely stay again to switch off and spend some quality time with family.

A large group of us hired out the whole venue for 3 days over NYE and had the most amazing time. As the main organiser I was so pleased with Zoe’s communication from the start which encouraged me to make the booking, she was also super helpful while we were there as well. Each accommodation space was quirky, homely yet clean and tasteful and having the log burners with free chopped wood helped to enhance that! Being able to have our yoga, meals and NYE party in the ‘Village Hall’ was the best bit, helping to keep each persons own accommodation separate from the main festivities. Advised by Zoe we had a big Tesco delivery (who did get a bit lost) come on the first day, and each accommodation has their own cooking facilities as well as a communal kitchen in the village hall. Such a beautiful venue, amazing walks, dog friendly - would love to come back and see it in the summer! Thanks for having us xxx
