A beautiful 17th century farm house in an amazing setting on a working farm. Room was very cosy. Comfy bed ans lovely bedroom. Breakfast was amazing and hosts Sharon and Dave couldnt do enough for you. Only stayed on night as going to a wedding but would highly recommend

I simply can't say enough wonderful things about this place and its owner, Sharon! The home was built in the 1600's, had a fire and rebuilt the kitchen and added another level in 1701. NEAT! Because it's such an old home, the ceilings and doorways are low (be aware if you're tall). My ONLY complaint was that it seemed that our bathroom may not have been completely cleaned after the previous guest. The hand towel looked like it had already been used a lot, and there was hair on the floor (not ours). The room was pretty warm but opening a window helped. Is this a reason not to stay there? Not in the least!!!! Breakfast was great! We had pancakes 🥞. This is on an actual working farm so there are cows that we went to pet. Not sure if the cows actually liked it, but it seems like a couple did. Honestly this felt like visiting your grandparents house and getting to sleep in a great big feather bed! If you love the country and enjoy peace and quiet, you will absolutely LOVE this amazing place!!!

Lovely place to stay with very welcoming people, good location to explore the local areas. Home was beautiful & room very comfortable. Only one thing Could do with a sign near the roadside, it was dark when we arrived and a little hard to see.
