Such an unbelievably nice place. Freshly mowed grass. And the shop have just enough to get you buy. The lady running the store/check-in is so nice and welcoming. Loved the vibe. Stocked up on food.

Had a perfect stay here after the AKW. Hikers can set up their tent and pay in the morning if the reception is closed already after 6. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly. The campsite is quiet, the views are beautiful and there is a bus stop half an hour away.

We had awful weather while wild camping for six days before we arrived. Our tent was soaked, but luckily, the manager saw our struggle and decided to bless us! She let us buy food after closing time and allowed us to sleep in the lounge. There is also a drying room to let your clothes dry.

Friendliest site! It was our first time caravaning, or so we thought as when we turned up in a massive motor home, they warmly laughed off the fact we’d accidentally booked for a caravan and showed us into a brilliant pitch. From then on, nothing was too much to ask, a corkscrew for our wine bottle or a hose to fill up our water, they were always on hand to help! With the gorgeous scenery and lovely owners we will definitely be back (in our caravan👀!)
