Ratagan Lodge works well for families wanting a self-contained base near the water. The property has two bedrooms upstairs—one with a double bed, one with zip-and-link singles—and sleeps six in total. The bathroom is on the ground floor. Downstairs, an open-plan living and dining space opens onto a roofed decking area facing Loch Duich, with the Five Sisters of Kintail mountains beyond. A second living room with a sofa bed and Sky TV gives extra flexibility for larger groups. The kitchen has an electric oven, hob, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave, so you can cook proper meals. A woodburner in the main room takes the edge off Highland chill, with initial logs included.
Essentials are covered: bed linen, towels, electricity and high-speed Wi-Fi are all part of the booking. Parking for two cars is on site, and there's an electric car charging point if needed. The property has a bike and kayak store, handy if you're planning activities on or near the loch. A travel cot and highchair are available on request for younger children, and there's a stairgate fitted. The front garden has steps and a roofed decking area with furniture. Note that there are ten steps within the garden itself. No smoking is permitted inside.

An absolutely gorgeous location, peaceful and not too far from amenities/supermarket in Lochalsh if you need them. The Lodge itself has been well renovated and is a real home from home, a brand new kitchen fitted in Feb 2026 has really finished this beautiful home off, making it one of the loveliest holiday homes we have stayed in. It was a real pleasure to come back here after day trips out discovering the wider area, every direction is stunning too. Would recommend and hope to return one day too.
